Poland jobless rate falls in July

Poland's jobless rate decreased marginally in July, figures from the Warsaw-based Central Statistical Office (GUS) showed on Tuesday.

The unemployment rate fell to 5.8% in July from 5.9% in June. In the same month last year, the unemployment rate was 6.1%.

The newly registered unemployed persons increased to 97,000 in July from 84,100 in the previous month. The number of youth unemployed persons, which is applied to below 25 age group, rose to 109,300 in July from 113,300 in the previous month.
