Pallas Athéné Foundation Assets Edge Over HUF 281 bln

Assets of the National Bank of Hungary's Pallas Athlné Foundation reached HUF 281.5 billion at the end of the third quarter, the foundation's asset manager, Optima, told state news wire MTI.

The assets included HUF 246.5 bln in investment fund units, HUF 17.1 bln in bank deposits, HUF 17.6 bln in corporate bonds and HUF 0.3 bln in real estate. 

The foundation and its legal predecessors have awarded HUF 13.1 bln in academic and scientific grants to 1,694 applicants since 2014.
