The number of employees in Hungary has been growing steadily since April, with 4.704 million working in July, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), more than before the coronavirus crisis, writes business daily Világgazdaság.

Last April, at the time of the national closures, the number of employees was 4.523 million, and since then, nearly 181,000 new jobs have been created.

At the same time, the number of Hungarians working abroad is still 35,000 lower than in the base period, just as the 87,000 people participating in public works programs are lower than two years earlier and has been steadily below 100,000 since the beginning of last year.
