N. Macedonia's real net wage up y.o.y. in February

North Macedonia's real net wage increased by 0.8% year-on-year in February, after growing at the same rate in January, the Skopje-based State Statistical Office (Makstat) said on Wednesday.
In nominal terms, the average net wage gained 2.7% year-on-year in February, reaching MKD 27,948 (EUR 454). The strongest annual wage growth in nominal terms, by 10.1%, was registered in the information and communication sector.
A decrease in the paid average monthly net wage was recorded in the sectors of mining and quarrying (9.0%), arts, entertainment and recreation (6.4%) and human health and social work activities (4.1%). On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage edged down 1.2% in February.
