Multiple Sectors Pay Above Average Wages

The value of gross earnings in September exceeded the national economic average of HUF 500,000 in eight sectors, according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Workers can still earn the most in the communication and the financial and insurance sectors, with the average salary in the former being HUF 838,000 and HUF 802,000 in the latter.
It is still worth being an engineer in Hungary because the professional, technical and scientific sector is in third place with an average salary of HUF 704,000 gross, followed by the electricity, gas, steam supply, and air conditioning sector with HUF 681,000.
