Montenegrin avg net wage slightly up in December

Montenegro's average net monthly earnings went up 0.4% month-on-month in December, after declining by 0.1% in November, data from the Podgorica-based Statistical Office (Monstat) showed on Wednesday.
Net earnings rose by an annual 2.4% in December, after growing by 1.9% in November.
The average net earnings amounted to EUR 537 in December, while gross average wage totaled EUR 802.
Meanwhile, figures from the statistics agency showed that Montenegro's average net monthly earnings went down by a real 0.9% year-on-year to EUR 532 in 2021. In a separate report Monstat said that Montenegro's retail sales rose by a real 12.7% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2021.
On a quarterly comparison basis, retail trade turnover, however, went down by a real 20.4% in Q4.
