Moldova Producer Price Inflation Rises Further in August

Moldova's industrial producer prices rose by an annual 30.2% in August, from a 29.3% increase in the previous month, Tradingeconomics.com reported on Tuesday citing data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Costs rose faster for manufacturing (23.8% vs 22.9%), namely food products (27.7% vs 26.8%), tobacco products (23% vs 20.9%), sugar (39.2% vs 34.8%), beer (21.7% vs 20.9%).
Meanwhile, cost slowed for mining & quarrying (37.4% vs 38.9%), and electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (117.4%, the same pace as in July).
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 0.6%.
