Moldova Producer Inflation Slows in December

Producer prices in Moldova increased 27.6% year-on-year in December, easing from a 28.1% growth in the previous month, economic portal Tradingeconomics reported citing data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Thursday.
Annual producer prices slowed for the manufacturing industry to 21.7% from 22.7% in November.
Meanwhile, costs accelerated for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (88.5% vs 83.1%) and mining and quarrying (32.3% vs 32.1%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.3% in December, after a 2.2% gain in November.
