MOL sales in Slovenia up 60% in 2021

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL recorded sales worth HUF 108.2 million (EUR 282.2 mln) in Slovenia in 2021, up 60% on an annual basis, the company said in an annual report posted on its website.

MOL agreed to acquire a 92.25% stake in Slovenia's second-largest fuel retailer OMV Slovenija from the Austrian oil, gas and chemicals group OMV last year for EUR 301 mln.

The company noted that the transaction includes 120 service stations across Slovenia and is subject to merger clearance.
