Domestic sales of the local unit of Italian building materials maker Mapei inched up 1.1% year-on-year to HUF 26 billion, indicating a "turnaround" after first-half sales dropped 3.4%, Mapei Kft said on Monday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Mapei Kft acknowledged seasonal effects and a "small-scale" increase in building and renovation projects on the higher turnover.
Managing director Béla Markovich said renovation projects "dominated" during the period, as property owners aimed to boost energy efficiency.
Mapei Kft expects full-year revenue growth.
The company had a net sales revenue of HUF 34.2 bln last year, public records show.
