Lithuania's annual inflation rate stood at 3.6% in June, unchanged from the previous month, data from the Vilnius-based Statistics Lithuania (LS) on Friday show.

Still, it was the highest inflation rate since January 2018, due mainly to a faster rise in prices of housing & utilities (2.3%), food & non-alcoholic beverages (0.8%), clothing & footwear (4.8%) and alcoholic beverages & tobacco (1.9%).

Prices also increased for transports (9.7%), for recreation & culture (3.9%) and for miscellaneous goods & services (2.4%).

On a monthly basis, consumer prices were up 0.6% in June, the same pace as in May.
