Latvia industrial production increases in March
Latvia's industrial production grew a calendar-adjusted 4.7% year-on-year in March, accelerating from an upwardly revised 2.7% rise in the previous month, data from the Riga-based Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) showed on Wednesday.
Manufacturing output gained 3.8% annually in March and rose 0.6% from the previous month.
Production in mining and quarrying output grew 11.2% yearly, while those of electricity and gas supply grew 7.4%. On a monthly basis, industrial output went up 0.5%, following an upwardly revised 1.1% gain in February.
