Kosovo's unemployment rises in Q4

Kosovo's unemployment rate rose to 27% at the end of the fourth quarter of 2020, from 24.6% in the previous quarter, the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) said.

The unemployment rate among women was 33.5% in the fourth quarter, as compared to 24.3% among men, the Pristina-based agency reported.

The employment rate among people aged 15 to 64 years edged up to 30.2% in the October-December period, from 30.1% in the prior quarter.
