Investment Fund NAV up HUF 235 bln in August

The net asset value (NAV) of Hungarian investment funds rose by HUF 235 billion to HUF 11.423 trillion in August, lifted by net subscription, according to monthly data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on its website yesterday.

Net subscription came to HUF 210 bln.

Price changes added HUF 12 bln and exchange rate changes HUF 14 bln to NAV.

Equities funds had the biggest NAV (HUF 3.424 tln), followed by real estate funds (HUF 2.883 tln), mixed funds (HUF 2.072 tln), and fixed income funds (HUF 1.859 tln) at the end of the month.
