Investment Company Earnings More Than Double in 2022

After-tax profit of investment companies overseen by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) rose 153% to HUF 48.6 billion last year, news agency MTI reports, citing data published by the central bank and financial market regulator on Wednesday.
Profit from investment services climbed 28% to HUF 52 bln.
Payroll costs increased 38% to HUF 13.7 bln.
The data cover eleven investment companies, one fewer than a year earlier.
