Investment company earnings climb 36% in Q1-Q3

After-tax profit of investment companies overseen by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) rose 36% year-on-year to HUF 12.8 billion in Q1-Q3, state news wire MTI reports, citing data released by the central bank.

Revenue from investment services increased 50% to HUF 331.3 billion during the period.

Total assets of the investment companies stood at HUF 828.2 bln at the end of September, up 162% from 12 months earlier.
