Hungary Current Account Surplus at EUR 559 mln in September

Hungary's current account had a EUR 559 million surplus in September, preliminary monthly data released by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) on Tuesday show.
The trade surplus reached EUR 1.375 bln, as the surplus in trade of goods was EUR 409 mln and the surplus in trade of services stood at EUR 966 mln.
The primary income balance showed a deficit of EUR 688 mln, as investors repatriated EUR 707 mln from direct investments.
Capital transfers from the European Union came to EUR 161 mln for the month.
