Hungarians Make up 13 % of Foreign Workers in Austria
Some 124,718 Hungarians worked in Austria in June, according to recent data published on the Austrian social insurance website, reports business daily Világgazdaság.
A Hungarian population the size of Győr (120 km northwest of Budapest) is already working in Austria.
According to statistics, Hungary provides the most workers to Austria, Germany is in second place with 123,301 people, and Romania is in third place with 83,701 workers.
Every eighth of the foreigners working in the Austrian economy is a Hungarian citizen.
According to the data, slightly more than 1 million international workers work for the Austrians, the 125,000 Hungarian workers make up 13% of this number.
