Higher education enrollment increased 11%

In February this year, nearly 102,000 students enrolled in higher education, an 11% increase over the same period in 2020, writes business daily Világgazdaság.
Correspondence courses have become more popular at the national level, which, according to the Budapest Metropolitan University, may also indicate that Hungarians are considering education to be a better investment due to the pandemic.
Some completely new courses, as well as English-language courses, are also popular among the applicants.
