Garantiqa Surety Stock Climbs to HUF 2.545 tln
Surety stock of Garantiqa, a guarantor controlled by the state of Hungary, rose 2% to HUF 2.545 tln in the first half of the year, the company said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The stock of loans related to the guarantee portfolio rose 5% to HUF 3.203 tln.
Guarantees signed for in H1 were "practically all" for state-subsidized credit, CEO István Attila Szabó said.
Redeemed guarantees came to HUF 25.3 bln in H1, just 26% of the full-year target.
