Forint slips past 371 to euro, a new low

The forint traded at 371.63 to the euro on the interbank forex market around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, slipping past the 371 mark to reach a new historical low, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The forint passed its previous historical low - reached on April 1, 2020 - on Monday.

The forint traded at 329.78 against the dollar around 10:00 in the morning, softening from 328.58 late Monday. It weakened to 354.13 from 353.24 to the Swiss franc.
