FDI into Albania rises 10% in 2021

The inflow of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Albania rose to EUR 1 billion last year, compared to EUR 936.8 million in 2020, according to central bank data.

On a quarterly comparison basis, FDI increased to EUR 302.2 million in October-December, from EUR 260.4 million in the July-September period, data showed.

The biggest volume of foreign investment in Albania in the fourth quarter, of EUR 96.4 million, originated in the Netherlands, followed by Italy with EUR 36.4 million and Turkey with EUR 23 million.
