Czech Firms Report Lower Gas Consumption in 2022
Czech companies used almost one-fifth less natural gas year-on-year in 2022, data released by the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) on Tuesday show, which drew on information from firms with 20 or more employees, reported the Czech Radio.
Consumption of hard coal also fell last year, by about a tenth, the report noted, while brown coal consumption rose.
Companies in the Czech Republic used slightly less electricity than in 2021.
