Croatian unemployment rate flat in February

Croatia's registered unemployment rate stood at 7.8% in February, unchanged from January, the Central Statistical Bureau (Crostat) said on Friday.
There were 130,453 unemployed people registered with labor offices in Croatia, down 0.4% month-on-month and 19.7% fewer year-on-year, the Zagreb-based agency said.
Meanwhile, according to the report, there were 1,545,407 employed people in the Adriatic country in February.
Data also showed that Croatia's average net monthly wage totaled HRK 7,378 (EUR 975) in January, unchanged on the year in real terms, after falling 1.4% in December.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net monthly wage rose by a real 1% in January, after a decline by 0.7% in December.
The average gross monthly salary amounted to HRK 9,982 (EUR 1,317) in January, up by a real 1.2% m/m and higher by 0.8% on the year.
