Croatia Producer Inflation Eases in April

Producer prices in Croatia eased to 6.5% year-on-year in April, following a 9.3% rise in the previous month, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (Crostat) said in a statement on Monday.
It was the lowest producer inflation since April 2021.
Cost grew at a softer pace for electricity, gas, steam, & air conditioning supply (30.8% vs 60.8% in March), manufacturing (4.2% vs 4.4%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management, & remediation activities (1.3% vs 1.4%).
Also, prices continued to decline for mining & quarrying (-26.6% vs -13.5%). On a monthly basis, producer prices fell by 0.9%, after a 0.3% gain in the previous month, the Zagreb-based bureau said.
