Croatia inflation rate eases in June

Croatia's consumer prices rose by 2% year-on-year in June, after increasing by an annual 2.1% in May, the Zagreb-based Statistical Bureau of Croatia (Crostat) said.

Cost for alcoholic beverages & tobacco rose 5.8% and transport prices grow by 9% annually in June. In addition, prices increased for housing & utilities by 1.6%, cost for health added 1.1% and prices for recreation & culture went up by 1.5%

On the other hand, cost for food & non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.1%. On a monthly basis, prices remained at the same level of the previous month.
