Croatia avg net wage falls in December

Croatia's average net monthly wage in December was HRK 7,280 (some EUR 966), which in real terms was 0.7% lower month-on-month and 1.4% lower year-on-year, data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (Crostat) on Friday show.

The average gross monthly salary in December stood at HRK 9,835 (EUR 1,305), down 0.8% in real terms compared to November and 0.9% lower compared to December 2020.

In 2021 as whole, Croatia's average net monthly wage totaled HRK 7,129 (EUR 946), up by a real 2.7% year-on-year.

The average gross monthly salary last year amounted to HRK 9,599, up by a real 1.6%, according to the report.
