CIG Pannónia Premiums Revenue Climbs 42% in Q1-Q3

Gross written premiums of listed insurer CIG Pannónia rose 42% year-on-year to HUF 22.7 billion in Q1-Q3, state news wire MTI writes, citing an earnings report released on Monday.
CIG Pannónia said unit-linked, industrial property, comprehensive fleet insurance, and group life insurance policies each contributed more than HUF 1 bln to revenue from premiums.
Net earned premiums climbed 27% to HUF 20 bln.
CIG Pannónia booked an after-tax profit of HUF 1 bln in Q1-Q3, up 5% from the base period.
The company noted that it is among the top 10 of close to 30 life insurers in Hungary with a 4.5% market share.
