CIG Pannónia Premiums Revenue Climbs 42% in 2022

Gross written premiums of listed insurer CIG Pannónia rose 42% to HUF 32.3 billion last year, an earnings report published ahead of the opening bell on Tuesday shows.
CIG Pannónia said premiums revenue from unit-linked, industrial property, comprehensive fleet insurance, and group life insurance policies each contributed more than HUF 1 bln to revenue growth.
Net earned premiums climbed 25% to HUF 27.8 bln.
After-tax profit fell 23% to HUF 1.4 bln as a HUF 0.6 bln windfall profit tax weighed.
