Bulgarian Jobless Rate Edges up in November

Bulgaria's registered unemployment rate inched up to 4.4% in November from 4.3% in October, the Employment Agency said, adding that the value for November is a historic low for this month.

On an annual comparison basis, the jobless rate fell by 0.4 percentage points in November.

At the end of month, there were 145,431 registered unemployed people in the country, which represented a rise of 3,444 people from the level in October.

The agency registered 23,744 unemployed people in November alone, which is by 1,738 lower than in October and by 906 lower than in November 2021.
