Bulgaria jobless rate falls in March

Bulgaria's registered unemployment rate fell by 0.4 percentage points (p.p.) month-on-month in March, to 6.5%, the country's Employment Agency said as cited by news portal SeeNews.
Yearly, the registered unemployment rate edged down by 0.2 percentage points in March. At the end of March, there were 214,052 registered unemployed people, or 11,229 less compared to February and 6,020 less compared to March 2020, the agency said.
There were 18,452 registered job vacancies at labor offices in March, or 37% more compared to the previous month. As many as 26.7% of all job vacancies were registered in the manufacturing sector, the agency added.
