Budapest Bourse Share Turnover HUF 209 bln in August

Share turnover on the Budapest Stock Exchange came to HUF 209 billion in August, the bourse said on Thursday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The daily turnover averaged HUF 9 bln.

OTP Bank generated the most turnover: HUF 111 bln for the month.

Wood&Company brokered the highest volume of trades in August, generating a double-counted turnover of HUF 120.5 bln.

Concorde was second, with a double-counted turnover of HUF 100.7 bln, followed by Erste Bank, with HUF 66.3 bln.
