Bosnia's Serb Republic avg net wage up in June

The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by a real 1.8% year-on-year in June, reaching BAM 1,157 (EUR 592), the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics (RSIS) said on Friday.

On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage increased 3.6% in real terms.

The average net monthly wage rose by a real 3.2% last year reaching BAM 1,004 in June.

The average gross monthly wage amounted to BAM 1,749 (EUR 894).  In a separate report the Banja Luka-based agency said that industrial output of Bosnia's Serb Republic rose 1.6% yearly in June, following a 10.3% increase in May.

On a monthly comparison basis, industrial production, however, fell 3% in June, after a revised decline of 2.3% in the prior month.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
