Bosnia's real avg net monthly salary up in May

The average net monthly salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose by 1.1% in real terms, to BAM 1,106 (EUR 565) in May on a monthly comparison basis, the Agency for Statistics of BiH (BHAS) said on Monday.

In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose by 12.8% year-on-year and 2.2% month-on-month in May, the Sarajevo-based statistics agency said.

The average gross monthly salary was BAM 1,696 in May, 11.6% higher on the year in nominal terms.

The average net monthly salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 4.4% year-on-year in nominal terms in 2021, reaching BAM 998.
