Bosnia avg net monthly salary up in January

The average net monthly salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 2.6% year-on-year in nominal terms in January, reaching BAM 969 (EUR 495), the Sarajevo-based Agency for Statistics (BHAS) said last week.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net monthly salary fell by 1.8% in nominal terms and by 2.2% in real terms in January, the statistical office said in a statement, without providing a figure for the year-on-year percentage change in real terms.
In January, the average gross monthly salary increased by a nominal 3% year-on-year, reaching BAM 1,504.
