Allianz Receives 35,000 Property Damage Reports

Allianz Hungária received nearly 35,000 residential property damage reports in connection with stormy weather in the first eight months of the year, a record for the past five years and 30% higher than the five-year average, according to profitline.hu.
Up until August of this year, the company has already paid out total compensation exceeding HUF 3.5 billion for these damages, more than one and a half times the total annual average of the previous four years.
The average payout for storm damage was around HUF 100,000 for home insurance.
