ÁKK: Central Budget Net Financing Requirement HUF 3.2 tln in 2023
The net financing requirement of Hungary's central budget is set to reach HUF 3.2 trillion in 2023, the Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) said on its website yesterday.
Hungary's 2023 Financing Plan, published by the Ministry of Finance and ÁKK, shows net issuance of HUF 3.409 tln, with the amount over the funding requirement earmarked for liquidity reserves.
The net issuance includes HUF 1.271 tln of forint bonds for institutional investors, HUF 595 billion of retail securities, and HUF 1.334 tln of FX financing.
Gross issuance is set at HUF 11.869 tln in the plan and includes HUF 3.072 tln of forint bonds and HUF 853 bln of treasury bills.
Switch auctions, suspended in September, will resume in 2023 with targeted issuance of HUF 390 bln.
