9,046 new COVID-19 cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 188,525, with 9,046 new cases and 189 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 18,451.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 580,642 up from 571,596 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 373,666.
Currently, 11,276 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,340 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 4,315,305 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 43,961 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 110,444. Pest County is the second most affected, with 80,598 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (33,430 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 53,418.
Until now, 1,589,612 people have been vaccinated, and 479,389 of them have already received the second dose as well.
