873 new COVID cases registered over last 3 days

Some 873 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary in the last three days, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 815,605, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 12 patients died, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,098.

The number of recovered patients rose to 779,005, while the number of active cases stands at 6,502.

Some 266 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 34 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,840,588, of whom 5,545,538 have already received their second vaccination. About 512,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
