859 new COVID cases registered in Hungary

Some 859 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 837,248, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

 

A total of 16 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,418.

The number of recovered patients rose to 792,242, while the number of active cases stands at 14,588.

Some 999 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 144 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,926,446, of whom 5,703,088 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.012 million people have already received their third vaccination.
