A total of 166 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 36,429.
The number of recovered patients rose to 968,897, while the number of active cases stands at 177,596.
Some 6,939 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 573 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,176,567, of whom 5,883,873 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.907 million people have already received their third vaccination.
