6,390 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

Some 6,390 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,103,108 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 195 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 34,521.
The number of recovered patients rose to 882,659, while the number of active cases stands at 185,928.
Some 7,596 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 513 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,126,420, of whom 5,842,885 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.515 million people have already received their third vaccination.
