6,268 new COVID cases, 107 deaths registered yesterday

Some 6,268 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 885,360, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 107 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 31,101.
The number of recovered patients rose to 801,690, while the number of active cases stands at 51,108.
Some 3,366 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 349 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,962,878, of whom 5,744,219 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.274 million people have already received their third vaccination.
