5,323 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

Some 5,323 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, increasing the total number of cases recorded since the beginning of the pandemic to 966,167.

The death toll rose by 165 yesterday, reaching 32,336. 

The number of recovered patients stands at 827,237, while the number of active cases increased to 106,594. 

A total of 5,811 patients are currently hospitalized, and 545 people require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,003,414, of whom 5,777,331 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.629 million people have already received their third vaccination.
