4,609 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 222,334, with 4,609 new cases and 274 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll has increased to 20,435.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 645,733 up from 641,124 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 402,964.
Currently, 12,553 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,523 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 121,657. Pest County is the second most affected, with 90,454 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (36,799 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 56,650.
According to the website, the total number of vaccinated people in Hungary is set to reach two million today.
