3,567 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 272,066, with 3,597 new cases and 285 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll has increased to 24,265.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 731,675 up from 728,078 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 435,344.
Currently, 10,364 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,204 of whom are on ventilators.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 134,221. Pest County is the second most affected, with 102,128 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (40,822 cases).
So far 5,011,794 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 43,992 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
According to the website, a total of 3,037,023 people have been vaccinated until today. The number of those who have received a second dose as well has increased to 1,290,709.
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 63,053.
