3,456 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 156,096, with 3,456 new cases and 195 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 17,421.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 532,578 up from 529,122 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 359,061.
Currently, 10,284 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 1,167 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 4,122,541 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 43,553 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 101,710. Pest County is the second most affected, with 72,823 cases, followed by Győr-Moson-Sopron County (30,626 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 51,180.
Until now, 1,397,342 people have been vaccinated, and 406,746 of them have already received the second dose as well.
