3,274 new COVID cases registered over past 3 days

Some 3,274 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary over the past three days, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 836,389, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.

A total of 51 patients died between Friday and Sunday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,402.

The number of recovered patients rose to 791,998, while the number of active cases stands at 13,989.

Some 908 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 126 of them require ventilation.

The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,924,063, of whom 5,700,021 have already received their second vaccination. About 997,000 people have already received their third vaccination.
