3,125 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

Some 3,125 new coronavirus cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 855,339, according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 36 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 30,647.
The number of recovered patients rose to 796,435, while the number of active cases stands at 28,257.
Some 1,798 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 197 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 5,943,832, of whom 5,724,539 have already received their second vaccination. About 1.141 million people have already received their third vaccination.
