2,995 new coronavirus cases registered in Hungary

The number of active coronavirus cases in Hungary stands at 81,179, with 2,995 new cases and 107 new deaths registered since yesterday, according to data by government coronavirus information site koronavirus.gov.hu.
The death toll stands at 14,252.
The total number of confirmed cases stands at 400,111 up from 397,116 yesterday.
The number of recoveries has risen to 304,680.
Currently, 4,147 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 351 of whom are on ventilators.
So far 3,480,444 tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories. Some 26,068 people are currently in compulsory home quarantine.
Looking at all diagnosed cases until now, Budapest remains the most affected area of the entire country, with the number of cases (both active and inactive) reaching 74,365. Pest County is the second most affected, with 50,232 cases, followed by Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County (22,714 cases).
The number of curfew violations registered by authorities throughout the country so far has reached 40,136.
Until now, 427,309 people have been vaccinated, and 172,739 of them have already received the second dose as well.
